		For this Do-It-Yourself (DIY) project, Barb advised on cabinets, window treatments and wall colour. The entire kitchen was gutted, and new upper and lower cabinets were installed along with new flooring, backsplash and lighting. New custom window treatments were also created, which provided inspiration for the warm new wall colour.

This Do It for Me (DIFM) project involved a very easy makeover. We painted the cabinets and added new hardware. Two new light fixtures and a new faucet were installed. New flooring, which was a peel and stick product, was easy to apply. Custom window valances were created for two windows and, of course, the walls were freshened up with a new coat of paint.

	In this Do It for Me project, we have a shared living and dining room. The previous parquet floors and baseboards were abused by pets and tenants. The best and very cost- effective solution was to install new wall-to-wall broadloom, along with new baseboards and new dining light fixture. The furnishings were all new, and a freestanding fireplace was added to add warmth. Again, the walls and new baseboards received a fresh coat of paint.
